The Shops at Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington, has been meticulously preserved by the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association since 1858.  Proceeds from the sale of merchandise are used to restore and maintain Mount Vernon for the benefit of the American people and for visitors from all over the world.  The Shops at Mount Vernon are open daily March - October from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and November - February from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, featuring fine gifts, reproductions, jewelry, books, toys and more.  The Shops at Mount Vernon are located outside the Texas Gate, next to the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant. The Lady Washington Shop which opens daily March - October from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm and November - February from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, is located on the estate, next to the Upper Garden. (703-799-8614)

During Mount Vernon by Candlelight evenings, holiday shopping hours are extended to 9:00 pm.  On Christmas Day, The Mount Vernon Inn Gift Shop is closed, however The Lady Washington Shop is open.

Customer Service is open 9am-5pm, Eastern, year round.

E-tickets will be delivered via a PDF attachment on a separate email. If you do not receive your ticket email within 30 minutes, please check your junk mail folder or call Guest Services.
